LEECH:  any of numerous carnivorous or bloodsucking usually freshwater annelid worms (class Hirudinea) that have typically a flattened lanceolate segmented body with a sucker at each end or a person who calls up The Radio Shopping  Show!

There are many leeches on this show.  There are the trivia leeches, the number checking leeches, the same business coupon hogging leeches, the leeches who talk excessively and claim to know everything, and finally the leeches who never buy anything but just call to try and win something or give a fake testimonial.

I have devised a system to rate these leeches. For example, a person who calls every day and never buys anything would be rated higher than a leech who calls a few times a week but wins prizes on the times they call.  Also a person who wins coupons and buys coupons occasionally  would be rated lower that a number checking leech who never buys anything.

#1. The Host - Mike  This fast talking host has to be the best  money extractor in the history of mankind.  He knows how to extract every available penny from the listeners.  He has various tiers of spending money in such a way that no matter how much you spend you are always a few dollars short from getting something free or something at a discount.  Then when you purchase that you will still be a few dollars short of getting something else free.  He makes this sound so attractive that the gullible public just keeps on buying these worthless coupons so the businesses offered can refuse them after they go off the show.

#2. 1394 - Rick...Congratulations to Rick he has moved up to the coveted #2 position. This is one of the more consistent callers, you know he will call every day and ask a trivia to win a prize and then either buy or pick SONIC as his coupon.  He must have 20 Sonics in the past month, and the hosts could care less.  Congratulations Rick another SONIC on Thursday, May 20, 1998. (was #8 last week)

#3. 246 Don… This GREEDY person amazes me, he has to call everyday and ask trivia questions to win prizes.  This person has won so many coupons in 9 months I don't know what he does with them.  He uses his computer to look up all the answers and then rubs it in the hosts faces.  What does it do with them, use them as toilet paper or rip them up?  (was #3 last week)
