This is the funniest part of the show. This is where all kinds of people call in and give a short testimonial on their dining experience at one of the restaurants. The hilarious thing about this is 99 percent of the testimonials are totally fake. This are said by most of the leeches who don't even buy the coupons to go to these great restaurants. But by giving a great critique about a business it softens up the host so that they can then ask a trivia question and increase the value of their prize. These leeches have this system down pat. Oh by the way if someone actually has a true testimonial about how bad their dining experience really was, they are not allowed to say it on the air, they are immediately told to call the business number.
So in other words if one person gets screwed at a restaurant all the other people who might go there will not hear about it and will go there and get screwed, so lets see who really benefits here. Customer is mad, Business owner is mad, The station sells coupons for cash and makes money off both people, I see, Line those pockets.
Need a really good laugh, just listen to the silly fake testimonials on the station . For instance you might hear something like. We went to the Billy Bobs Pizza Place last night and it was great. They have wide doors to enter and they have tables and chairs, and the rest rooms were pretty clean. And the water was clean, except no one was in the business. The food was OK. I had enough pizza to take home for 1 week and I just love 3 day old cold pizza, don't you. Great testimonial huh.
There are 6 or 7 such great liars that give expert testimonials that it is almost believable. Except for one thing they have never even been to the places they are giving the testimonials for. I remember one quite vividly, they went through this whole prepared testimonial about a place they had eaten at the night before and how great it was, and the host was so happy when they asked their daily trivia question they were rewarded by getting a FREE $15 coupon. That was really great, except The business they were critiquing was out of business for over 1 week, get the point.
These are the people who never buy the coupons they only look to win them and for them to go to a place which is considered fine dining is like taking a wino out of the Bowery in New York, and putting him in The Who's Who.
